Memorial Day
nampa — May 20, 2013 - 10:39am
The Nampa Public Library will be closed Monday, May 27 in honor of Memorial Day.
The parade was a success!
nampa — May 20, 2013 - 12:47pm
Head over to our capital campaign website to see photos of our staff and ESI participating in the 44th Annual Exchange Club Parade America! A great time was had by all, regardless of the havoc the wind wreaked on our balloons!
From Library Director Mark Rose
Director — May 7, 2013 - 12:08pm
Today ground was broken for our new library! To all who attended, thank you, it was wonderful to see so many there, and so many children. There is work ahead of us, but for those who have waited a long time, this has been a huge milestone for our community. There are many people to thank for today. The Mayor and City Council, the Nampa Development Corporation, the Library Board, city staff, Library staff, the Gardner Company, ESI, Babcock Design Group, FFA, and many more.
We are now working to put the finishing touches on the interior design. This is a process that began some time ago, before I arrived here 3 years ago. We continue to look for ways to involve the community. We are hoping to have a construction camera operating soon so that you can watch the progress. You will find floor plans now, you'll be amazed, and then again when you step inside the finished library in just a year and a half!
