The Public Services department of the Nampa Public Library consists of enthusiastic dedicated team members that ensure the library is an information hub for all community members. We meet the needs and expectations of customers, through a variety of resources and programming.
We provide a variety of programs throughout the year to promote literacy in early childhood and school age children. Staff visits local schools and community events to promote reading, library programs, and literacy.
The Public Services department supports the Teen Advisory group called TALK that organizes and promotes the teen programs. Staff advise customers in selecting books, movies and muic.
Public Services staff answered over 39,000 questions in the past year and provided computer classes assisting in basic and job skills.
