Library AdministrationDirector, Mark Rose, guided by policies and direction set the by the Library Board of Trustees, implements the library mission and strategic plan and coordinate the efforts of a stellar library staff. Director Rose welcomes you to enjoy the many services and resources your public library provides you. A great staff is prepared to help you as needed. We look forward to a future with a new library facility where we can continue to present you with quality services in a building designed to meet our communities needs. Mark received his graduate degree in Library and Information Science from Brigham Young University in 1991. Before moving to Nampa he was the director of the Marion Public Library in Ohio. He has worked in public libraries in Utah, Colorado and Arizona. He also served as an Officer in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany. He speaks Spanish having served as a missionary in Ecuador. He loves the work of public libraries as they serve the entire community. Libraries are an incredible resource for learning, enjoyment and meeting the community. Mark is a father and grandfather who enjoys woodworking, gardening, wildlife, reading history and good story.
