The Circulation Department is staffed by the supervisor and seven
other circulation associates who spend most of their time at the
Checkout Desk near the entrance and exit of the library.
The department’s goal is to provide library users with friendly
and excellent customer service.
Staff check out over 50,000 items each month, place holds if needed,
register about 500 customers each month for new library cards, process
over 10,000 items a month from other Treasure Valley libraries, check
in about 50,000 items that are returned, and answer general customer
questions.
