Donations to the LibraryBequests and donations augment traditional city property tax funding that supports library services. Financial contributions may be undesignated for the library to use as needed, or designated specifically to support library materials, programming, operations, or a new library facility. The library also provides a method for donations to be made to honor family or friends. Donation Form. The Friends of the Nampa Public Library accepts donations of books, movies, music and other materials (magazines are not accepted). Some of these donations may be added to the library collection if they meet the collection development gift policy; others are sold at the Friends’ book sales to benefit the library. A Gift Presentation Form is available at the checkout desk as a receipt for donated materials. The Nampa Public Library Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit corporation whose mission is to raise money for enhanced services and opportunities at the Nampa Public Library. Donations go directly toward supporting excellence in library service. Donors are community partners who learn about the unmet need and then get involved.
