Get a Card:
Anyone wanting to obtain a card must live within
Nampa City limits or own property within Nampa City limits, provide
photo identification and proof of physical address at the time
of application and every two years to update the card.
Apply Online - It's Easy!
- Go to My
Account;
- Click on the "Get a Library Card" button next to
the login box;
- Fill out form and click "I accept";
- NOTE: Please use your LEGAL name on
the application and provide all of the information requested.
- Visit the Nampa Public Library to activate your card. You must
activate it BEFORE you can do any online transactions.
Minors under the age of 18 must have a parent
or legal guardian present to obtain a card. The parent or legal
guardian must have a valid Nampa Public Library card, to obtain
one for their child(ren).

Non-residents (persons who do not live within
the city and do not pay city taxes) may pay an annual
fee per family per year for the privilege of borrowing library
materials. The fee may be adjusted annually by the board, using
as a guideline the amount of local property tax money spent per
average sized family to support the library. Individual cards may
be issued to all members of the family living at the address for
one calendar year from the date of issue. The fee is non refundable
if the card is used for less than one year. There is a reduced
rate for senior citizens, 60 years of age and older.
