Bequests and donations augment traditional city property tax funding that supports library services. Financial contributions may be undesignated for the library to use as needed, or designated specifically to support library materials, programming, operations, or a new library facility. The library also provides a method for donations to be made to honor family or friends.

The Friends of the Nampa Public Library is an active group who welcome new members, and offer opportunities for participation with the Book Sale, other special projects, or service on the Friends Board.

The library benefits from volunteers who donate their time. Volunteers are assigned to mend and repair library books, help our staff with Storytime, straighten shelves and much more.
