Policies & Key DocumentsNampa Public Library policies are established by its five-member Board of Trustees, as provided under Idaho State Code 33-2607. Library administration recommends needed policies and collects examples and provides information for the board. Library employees carry out the policies as adopted by the board and interpret policies to the public. The library board is responsible for determining the goals and objectives of the library and the methods of evaluating progress toward meeting goals. They determine and adopt written policies to govern the operation, use, and programs of the library. Goals, objectives and policies are regularly reviewed in the context of current information about the community and about library services.
